Norse Headed to State!

The varsity baseball team defeated Adams Central yesterday at Highland Park in Kokomo, 5-1, to win the 2A North Semi State.  Ryan Keaffaber improved to 13-1 with a 5-hit effort on the mound while striking out 9. Norse Win Regional in Dramatic Fashion, 2-1

3 Make All-TRC Tennis Team

Singles player Bayli Birk and doubles players Leanne Beck and Alyssa Richter were recently named 1st Team All-TRC by the conference tennis coaches. The Norse, coached by Marlene Richter, finished the season 7-7.  The double team of Richter/Beck made it to the final match of the regional tournament.  Birk also advanced out of the sectional.

4 Make All-TRC Softball Team

The Lady Norse were well-represented on the TRC All-Conference team after a meeting held by coaches last night in Rochester. Katelyn Shafer made 1st team pitcher.  Caitlin Eltzroth made 1st team infielder.  Earning honorable mention were Arie Kennedy and Abby Keaffaber. The Norse, under Mike Holley, finished the season 15-9.

Baseball Regional Postponed

The Wabash Baseball Regional has been postponed due to rain.  The semi finals will now be played on Monday (2 schools are still in session so it cannot be played during the day).  The first game will be at 5 pm. The second game will follow. It is announced as a 7 pm start but

Golfers Finish 7th at Sectional

The boys’ golf team completed their season with a 7th place finish at today’s Warsaw Sectional. The Norse fired a 348. Warsaw won the sectional by one stroke over Triton with a 314.
