Junior High Wrestling Practice Begins Feb 4

Junior High wrestling will begin on Monday, February 4. Practices from Monday-Wednesday will take place until 5:30pm. The parent meeting will take place after practice on Wednesday, February 6. At that time, Coach Eltzroth will provide further details about the season and practice times.

The Lady Norse Varsity Basketball Team Defeat Madison Grant

The Lady Norse varsity basketball team improved their record to 13-3 on the season with a victory over Madison Grant. The team had a total of 21 steals. Katie Stephan led the norse with 14 points. Arie Kennedy and Sydney Reed each had 8 points. By: Cortney Penington

The 8th Grade Boys’ Basketball Team Lost to Crestview

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team lost to Crestview. Austin Trump led the Norse with 9 points while Jensen Frieden contributed 6 points. Caleb Kroh added 4 points while Jackson Beery round out the scoring with 2. By: Cortney Pennington

Norse Freshman Basketball Team Defeat Eastern

Dylan Brown had an outstanding game and led the norse to victory with 14 points. Remington Monce also added to the win with 11 points. Drake Richter and Jacob Schuler chipped in 6 each. The Norse kept Eastern scoreless in the 3rd quarter with their great defense lead by Jacob Watkins, Brayden Schindler, and Taylor Poole. By: Cortney Pennington

Varsity Wrestlers Fall to Whitko

Whitko defeated the Northfield wrestling team in their last duel meet of the year Tuesday evening. Pinning for the Norse were Austin Kirtlan and Marcus Wells. Winning by forfeit were Kyle Houlihan, Drake Heitz and Joesph Ross. Jared Kirtlan won by major decision and in the process of winning, set a new career takedown record of 201 takedowns.

The Lady Norse 8th Grade Defeat Oak Hill

The Lady Norse 8th grade girls basketball team beat Oak Hill Monday evening 28-9. Jacklyn Peas had 8 points, Jordan Bratch 6 points, and 8 rebounds. Courtney Stapleton added 4 points.   By: Cortney Pennington

7th Grade Boys Fell to Oak Hill

The 7th grade boys’ fell to Oak Hill 27-38. Leading Scorers for the norse were John Schuler 9, Matt Coe and Kyle Reed had 7 each and Macauley Miller with 4. By: Cortney Pennington
