Lady Norse Defeat Lady Eagles 47-32 in Sectional Opener

The Lady Norse basketball team opened the Wabash Sectional with an outstanding effort in defeating ranked Oak Hill 47-32. The Norse had lost to the Lady Golden Eagles on November 9 by one point. Playing very confident and poised, the Norse jumped out to an early lead that expanded to 24-9 midway through the 2nd.

Norse Raise $1000 for Charity

Norse Raise $1000 for Charity Last Friday, the Faculty/Intramural All-Star Basketball Game for Charity took place during the late afternoon. Students donated $2 each to attend.  Along with contributions from faculty, staff and the Athletic Department, the Norse helped raise $1000 for charity.  This year that amount will be split evenly and donated on behalf of the

Lady Norse 8th Grade Fall to McCulloch

The Lady Norse 8th grade girls basketball team lost to Marion McCulloch Monday evening 20-21. Jacklyn Peas led the Lady Norse with 10 points. Jordan Keaffaber had 6 points. By: Cortney Pennington

Varsity Boys Basketball Team Defeat Manchester

The Varsity Boys’ basketball team defeated Manchester Friday evening. Collin Dawes led the Norse with a great all-around game: 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jon Richardson added 17 points, while Ryan Keaffaber and Tanner Wilcox each chipped in 10. Keaffaber led in rebounding with 8.   By: Cortney Pennington

Northfield Wrestlers Qualify Two to Semi-State

Northfield has qualified two wrestlers into next Saturday’s Semi-State at Fort Wayne. Joseph Ross is the 195 pounds winner, recording two pins on his way to a 17-2 tech fall in the finals. Varsity Boys Basketball Fall to FW Canterbury

The Varsity Boys Basketball Team lost to Canterbury on Saturday Night, 63-54. Collin Dawes led the Norse with 17 points and 3 assists, Ryan Keaffaber added 15 points and 3 rebounds while Marcus Kroh chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds.   By: Cortney Pennington
