Behind a big performance from birthday boy Nate Drancik on the mound, the Norse varsity baseball team climbed back into a tie for first place in the conference with a 3-1 victory over Rochester. Drancik struck out 17 Zebras on his way to a win. Gage Watkins lead the offense with two hits and an RBI. Chance Hartman and Jarret Shafer drove in the other two runs, with Cole Rosen and Braden Ripplinger also picking up hits. The Norse are back in action tonight in another big trc game as the take on the Peru Tigers at home at 5:00. We would love to see a big crowd out there.
