Norsemen News · Girls Track Takes Home County Title

For varsity track & field, the Lady Norse dominated Wabash county Tuesday night.  Going into county seeded 3rd, the team picked up an impressive extra 22 points on the night.  Event Champions for the night included Bussard, Kennedy, McKillip, Ross, Schuler, and Stout.  The whole team put forth a great effort though and almost every individual helped score points to lead the Lady Norse to a ten point victory over Manchester.  It was most awesome!  The team will compete again next Tuesday at IWU for the TRC championships.

The boys Varsity Track & Field team competed at Manchester last night in the Wabash County Championships.  The Norse ran some great personal bests: Jarrett Wilson brought down his mile time by 6 seconds, Clay Herring cut his 200m time by almost 2 seconds, and Paul Labonte threw the discus 9 feet farther than his season best.  Event Placers for the night included Seth Forsyth, Joe Halderman, Alex Haupert, Kade Kennedy, and Ben Kissel.  Congrats on some most awesome performances guys!  The team will compete again on Tuesday, May 8th at IWU for the TRC championships.
