Multiple Teams · Boy’s Varsity Basketball Takes Ranked Oak Hill To The Wire

The Northfield boys JV lost to Oak Hill Friday evening to end their season. The boys battled back in the 4th attempting a valiant effort comeback but it came up short with the Norse falling 44-61. Jared Peas led the Norse JV in scoring with 19 points. Graydon Craig put together 7 points and 6 rebounds, and Daniel Driscoll racked up 6 assists. Great improvement this season fellas!

The Northfield boys basketball team battled back and forth with #1 team in 2A (Oak Hill) the entire night, but fell short with a final score of 66-74. Leading the way for the Norse was Cody Holmes with a stat line of 23 points, 12 rebounds, 6 blocks, and 3 assists. Kyle Reed put together a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Ryan Driscoll had 13 points as well, and Austin Trump added 10 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals. The Norse have shown drastic improvements since the start of the season and get another shot at rival Southwood Wednesday evening in the first round of sectional.
