Don’t forget about our Lost and Found. We have several jackets, some jewelry, and lots of other things you wish you hadn’t lost. Check with the office!
Due to the four-day week, this week’s detention will be held on Wednesday. If you were invited to “Wednesday” School this week, plan to stay with Mr. Votaw in Room 228 from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. or with Mrs. Guenin in Room 115 until 4:20 p.m. tomorrow.
Course request sheets were due on Friday, and there are still many students who have not turned theirs in. It is very important that you turn in your course request sheet to the guidance office ASAP!
Seniors: Don’t forget Northfield’s FAFSA Help Night takes place next Wednesday, February 20 from 4-7 pm in the cafeteria. Financial aid representatives from Manchester University will be here to help you and your parents fill out the FAFSA. If you can’t make it to ours, you are welcome to attend Help Nights at Wabash High School on Monday, February 25, 4:00-7:00 pm or Manchester High School on Tuesday, February 26, 3:00-7:00 pm.
Key Club will have an Evening meeting Monday, February 25th from 6:30-9pm. Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend. Do you want a Key Club hooded sweatshirt? Key Clubbers, check your emails and have your orders in by Feb 26th.
Seniors, let your parents know that the deadline for yearbook Grad Ads is March 31!
High school students, you have only three days left to buy your ticket to Saturday’s semi-formal dance “Starstruck 2013.” Tickets are $10 each and sold during lunch; permission forms to bring a student from another school are available when you purchase your ticket. The dance is at the REMC building from 8-11pm this Saturday.
The Lady Norse 8th grade basketball team beat Logansport Monday night. Jordan Bratch led with 14 points and Courtney Stapleton had 12 points. The team plays at Southwood Wednesday night.
The 7th grade girls’ basketball team beat Logansport last night. Indi Shear led the team with 8 points. Michelle Hunt scored 7 points, Kenzie Thornsbury 5 points, and Ellie Schuler 2.
It’s Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Today’s thought: True love is like a pair of socks—you have to have two, and they’ve got to match. Have a relationship like socks.
