High school students can buy their ticket during lunch to the annual semi-formal dance “Starstruck 2013” and the crowning of the Ultimate Norseman and Ultimate Lady Norse which takes place on Saturday, February 16 at the REMC Building. Tickets are $10 each.
Permission forms to bring a student from another school are available when you purchase your ticket.

The 7th grade girls’ basketball team lost to Rochester last night. Indi Shear and Maddie Snyder led the Norse scoring 6 points each. Michelle Hunt added 2 points.
The Lady Norse 8th grade basketball team beat Rochester Thursday night by one point. Jordan Bratch led the Lady Norse with 11 points and Jacklyn Peas had 6. The team plays at Logansport on Monday night.
The JV boys’ basketball team lost to Oak Hill last night. Nick Ridenour led the Norse in scoring with 8 points. Hunter Louden added 7 points and 6 rebounds, while Heath Miller dished out a team-high 5 assists. Their record now stands at 10-7 on the season.
The Varsity boys’ basketball team defeated Oak Hill last night. Collin Dawes had an outstanding performance, scoring 23 points, including 5 for 7 from 3-point range. Dawes also had a team-high 3 steals. Adam Roser chipped in 9 points; Jon Richardson added 8. The Norse return to action Tuesday against Maconaquah for Senior Night, where Collin Dawes and Ryan Keaffaber will be honored in their last home game.
Senior Girls: The Miss Huntington 2013 Scholarship Pageant will hold an Orientation Meeting TOMORROW at 9:00 am at Huntington North High School. Flyers are available in the front office.

For the junior high, nominated by Mrs. Schuler, the winner is Mariah Kirtlan, who helped a student who had been absent, and for the high school, also nominated by Mrs. Schuler, the winner is Merandah Evans, who painted a sign for the Athletic department. Congratulations to these and all who received a Norse Honor slip this week. Winners may come to the office during passing for their prizes.
