Varsity Baseball Has Big Day Sweeping Marion

The varsity  baseball team had a big day Saturday winning two games versus Marion. In the game one 9-2 victory, Blake Harner threw 6 scoreless innings while striking out 12 Giants. At the plate Cole Rosen went 3 for 3. Braden Ripplinger and Jared Vigar each collected two hits and Matt Coe drove in three runs.
The Norse won game two 16-6. Chance Hartman went 4 for 5 with three batted in. Jacob Truman, Blake Harner, Braden Ripplinger and Matt Coe had multiple hits as well.  The giants are back in action this week at home both Tuesday vs. Eastern and Wednesday vs. TRC opponent Rochester.
